Video game firm THQ sued by Adidas over ‘contract breach’
According to the US newspaper The Oregonian, the video game development company THQ is being sued by sports giant Adidas for a reported $10 million over an alleged breach of contract.
It is claimed that Adidas filed the lawsuit after THQ failed to bring a new keep-fit game bearing the sports brand’s name to the market. The game was going to be called MiCoach, an exercise measuring game which was designed to be a rival to products such as Nike+.
In the lawsuit, Adidas claims that THQ informed the company that it could complete the game by the agreed January 2012 deadline. There were a number of lay-offs at the games company, meaning that the development of the MiCoach game was disrupted. A

It is no secret that there are many Republicans who dislike some parts of the Affordable Care Act. Typically, they point to controversial parts of the ACA, such as the individual mandate, when they talk about how they would like to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Rick Santorum has taken things one step farther. He really hates the entire ACA, (even the parts that many people like).
The Affordable Care Act includes something called an individual mandate. This law would require all Americans who don’t have already have health insurance in 2014 to purchase a health insurance plan. Those that choose not to will have to pay a fine. Those who are low-income will get financial assistance to help them pay for health insurance.
Netflix faces class action lawsuit from investors
Just a week or so after it launched in the UK and Ireland, the online content streaming service Netflix is reportedly facing a new class action lawsuit from a number of its investors.
A report in the Guardian claims that Netflix’s investors are suing because they believe the management of the company to have misled shareholders as to the health of the business, whilst at the same time cashing in $90 million of stock whilst the price was at a record high.
In the lawsuit, which was filed recently in the US state of California, it is alleged:
“Defendants’ statements about Netflix’s ability to secure content and maintain profit margins were crucial to investors’ evaluation of Netflix.
